Traditional Japanese Usui Reiki Treatments and Courses with established professional Reiki Master and Teacher John. I’m based in Rothwell, Leeds and offer Reiki treatments throughout the week. Each treatment can last up to 75 minutes, £10 per treatment. There is always plenty of time after each treatment to just relax before you leave, you are never rushed. Courses run for full days or part days for those who devoting full days is not possible. First Degree £80, Second Degree £110. For Master please contact for more information. Courses are 1 to 1 and small groups, I run courses on any day of the week to suit the student. I don’t have set course dates which means you can learn Reiki within your own timetable, no need to rearrange events, work or childcare around your course. If you need to finish at a set time in the day, for example school time, then that’s fine, your course will be tailored to fit your needs.

John is a fantastic teacher and an absolutely wonderful person!
I have recently completed my master training with John, and I must say he is an excellent source of guidance and knowledge! He has left me with a new degree of confidence in my practice and my art which, to be fair, before I met him, was full of doubts and uncertainty.
The course was really great! A lot of fun and a massive massive confidence boost! I tend to practice a freestyle, unformalised and intuitive approach, John has helped me to really sink my faith into my own way and thus helped me to see through my own insecurities!
His approach is patient and gentle, and has enough time for you and will never rush you.
I gained so much just from talking with him, and thats not to mention the actual work we went through over the two days of the course (and the week leading upto it with the pre-course study guide)
I am so happy and greatful to John for everything he has given me of himself! It is really refreshing to meet and know a practitioner that is so down to earth, yet still with a lofty vision.
John is a great man, and an equally great teacher. I would reccomend him for anybody, he has a real knack for tailoring to his students individual approach/needs! AND his prices are really really really good!

I started receiving Reiki with John at a time in my life when I was seriously ill. Weekly treatments helped me through the antiviral chemotherapy and when I became stronger, John suggested that I might now wish to study Reiki and to use the abilities in my self-healing.
What a wonderful decision that was! I have now studied from Reiki I through to Master degree with John. I can say wholeheartedly that it has changed my life.
John still patiently answers any questions which I might have and I feel truly supported on my Reiki path.

My experience with Timeless Reiki has been life changing. Having one healing session whereby a feeling of debilitating anxiety and dread has now disappeared (unbelievable but true) to completing my First Degree in Reiki. My journey has been mind-blowing but all the more special by the teacher John. This man lives and breathes Reiki and his passion on this subject is infectious. John makes you feel you are capable of anything, any doubts in your ability are quashed through a wealth of knowledge, experience and easy to follow teaching style.
I feel I have caught the Reiki “bug” and can’t wait to start my second degree. Would I have been this passionate and enthusiastic about my progression and ability had it not been for the teaching material, teaching style and of course John himself? Well from personal experience the answer is a definite NO. I will be forever grateful to John for giving me this opportunity and I can’t thank him enough.
I’ve spent the most magical two days with John as he brought me from complete novice (never even had a Reiki treatment) to Shoden (First Degree).
“Timeless” is the perfect description for John’s approach. He’s patient and delivers at exactly the right pace for the student – but the magic is in the way he shrinks time. On my first morning, I thought I’d been with him for a matter of minutes, when he leapt up to announce that it was lunchtime!
I’ve learnt and experienced so much over the last two days. His anecdotes, warmth, generosity of spirit and good humour made the days flow.
Above all he’s taught me that Reiki should natural, light-hearted and fun.
John has given me the confidence to take my spiritual development further along the Reiki path – and for that I am forever in his debt.
I have recently completed my First Degree with John. His ability to understand the needs of his students is second to none, very intuitive. He allows enough time for both the student and himself to ensure the teachings are practised and understood fully. His commitment to the Reiki life shows in his approach to the teachings. I couldn’t wish for a better teacher and mentor.
I can highly recommend John as both teacher and healer. He is an intuitive, patient teacher and works at a pace to suit the student. He has a genuine interest in passing on Reiki healing techniques and lives his life by the ‘Reiki precepts’ himself. He takes whatever time is needed by the student, never rushing, and ensuring that each area of work is fully understood before moving onto the next stage. The weekend course was fantastic, with lots of practical energy exercises as well as Reiki teachings. We were literally ‘buzzing’ at the end of each day, and I came away from the course on a physical and mental ‘high’. John uses his knowledge and skills to offer Reiki to as many people as need it, rather than using it as an income stream as so many ‘healers’ seem to do nowadays. His passion for Reiki, to help people, to teach those that need it, to heal wherever possible, comes through in his words and his attitude. I chose John to be my Reiki Master teacher after an initial meeting in which I realized his genuine ideals and natural healing abilities matched my own spiritual beliefs, to help others not just to help ourselves. John truly practices ‘timeless’ Reiki, by way of practicing original Japanese methods, and by giving as much time as needed to both students and patients.
John is a great mentor and an extremely intuitive, understanding teacher. He takes time to explain all aspects of Reiki in a way that suits the individual student, and he shows how to really ‘live the Reiki way’. Having had a gap of some 8 years from Level 2 before deciding to take the plunge and take my Reiki to the next level, I chose to work with John for my Master Course due to his patience, grace and ‘timeless’ attitude. John never rushes his students nor his healing sessions, he gives as much time as the student or patient needs. He has a genuine love of helping people, and sees his teaching as a way of bringing Reiki healing to many more people, rather than an income stream as so many ‘healers’ seem to do nowadays. I hold John in the highest regard, and highly recommend him as both teacher and healer.
Excellent – I suffer from ME with chronic pain-afterthe initial treatment I found enormous improvements in my condition which has continued through my treatment course + beyond. John is a hidden gem. It is hard to find such a caring practioner who genuinely seeks to share his knowledge of reiki.
