Reiki is a form of hands on healing. The word comes from the Japanese: “REI” meaning Universal and “KI” meaning Life Force Energy.
Reiki is an holistic treatment that is completely safe and natural. There are no side affects.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Reiki is given to the client lying down on a couch or if prefered sitting in a chair, in a quiet and relaxing homely environment .No clothing is removed and a warm blanket is usually placed over the client.
The Reiki practitioner then channels energy to the client by gently placing hands on various parts of the body.
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?
Most people feel deeply relaxed and at peace. Some fall asleep, other sensations vary from person to person and many feel warmth or a cooling sensation, a feeling of bubbeling energy, a pleasant tinggling sensation, others see beautiful colours and light or even have spiritual visions.
Even if you feel nothing Reiki is still working.
