My name is Emma and I am a qualified and fully insured Reiki healer offering treatments from my home based in Dartford, Kent. I am also a yoga teacher and work with sound healing too.
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that is used for stress reduction and relaxation and which also promotes healing. Energy is channelled by means of touch which takes the form of both the laying of hands on the body (fully clothed) and also hovering the hands slightly above the body working within the aura. This channeling of energy activates the body's natural healing processes and helps to restore physical and emotional well-being.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Reiki can be used to alleviate a wide range of physical and emotional symptoms and I have thus far worked with people experiencing headaches, backache, toothache, stomach problems, dealing with grief, anxiety relating to both emotional issues and also from the trauma of undergoing chemotherapy, depression, cancer and people just wanting to relax and the results have been extremely encouraging.
The feeling of deep relaxation and wellbeing that ensues after a treatment would be of tremendous benefit to pretty much everyone particularly given the fast pace at which people tend to live nowadays. In fact a lot of common ailments such as headaches and backaches for instance, can often be a direct result of stressful living, and coughs and colds often appear when we are overworked and rundown and not looking after ourselves properly. So by bringing your body back to a place of balance many of these such ailments could in fact be alleviated if not avoided. On another level you might just want to pamper yourself and enjoy an hour of pure relaxation.
