Céline Descombe – Manager, Reiki Master Teacher

Manager of the School & Head of our Plymouth branch, Céline offers Reiki sessions and teaching at our clinics in Plymouth, Tedburn & Exeter. Céline is also a valued member of our Reiki Rascals team.

Passionate about healing and well-being for all, I have been teaching Reiki and giving sessions at the Devon School of Reiki for the past three years. Head of the Plymouth branch, I offer full support to students, holding Monthly Reiki Shares in Plymouth as well as in Exeter. I am also the UK Reiki Federation Representative for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

In 2016 I spent nearly a year in Japan, staying with different small local communities, where I followed in the footsteps of Mikao Usui, the founder of Japanese Reiki. This wonderful experience allows me to share stories and photos about the birthplace of Reiki and to offer students a different insight on Japanese Reiki.

I am passionate about communication and languages. Having lived in Spanish-speaking countries (Peru and Spain) for 2 years, I am fluent in Spanish and can offer personalised Reiki sessions and training in English, French and Spanish.

As part of the Reiki Rascals team,  I have really enjoyed teaching Reiki to children and running “Finding the Key” after-school clubs in Primary Schools in Devon. Finding the Key introduces a number of holistic ideas and activities including Mindfulness, Yoga, Reiki and relaxation techniques for the children to use at home or at school.

I love working with children and I have also acted as the course director and teacher on residential courses, taking personal responsibility for the safety and welfare of the children

When I am not teaching Reiki, you may find me teaching Yoga at my local studio in Plymouth. This practice goes hand in hand with Reiki as it offers for us to connect to our body and mind, to experience stillness, balance and a sense of clarity.
