WHAT IS REIKI?
The word Reiki is Japanese and means â€˜universal life force energyâ€™. Rei is â€˜universalâ€™ and Ki is â€˜life force energyâ€™. Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique which is natural, gentle and non-invasive.
It is based on the principle that the body is made up of energy centres called chakras. Our whole energy field, including our
bodies are responsive to thoughts and feelings and the flow of energy becomesâ€¨disrupted or blocked if we are stressed.
This results in us feeling unwell.
Essentially Reiki is a deep relaxation process that helps an individual to let go of stress, physically, mentally and
emotionally. By bringing the body back into balance it accelerates the bodyâ€™s own natural ability to heal, fosters relaxation and a general feeling of well being.
WHAT IS NLP? (NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING)
NLP encompasses the three most
influential components in producing human experience: neurology,
language and programming.
The implication here is that many thoughts, habits, reactions and
behaviour patterns (including unhelpful ones) are â€˜programmedâ€™ into our brains and now run there just as software
programmes run on a computer.
NLP teaches us that many of these can be replaced with more helpful thoughts reactions and behaviours. Theâ€¨philosophy of NLP challenges us to live at cause and be responsible forâ€¨creating the life we desire.
WHAT IS TIME LINE THERAPYâ„¢?
Time Line TherapyÂ® is based on the concept that we each have a unique internal
â€˜Time Lineâ€™ which is how we unconsciously store our memories and our projections of the future.
This therapy uses the time line to work with the unconscious mind in a variety of ways including healing emotional traumas, eradicating unwanted thoughts and
behaviours, releasing the effects of past negative experiences and to change
Using a combination of NLP, Hypnosis and Time Line TherapyÂ®, these techniques work with the unconscious mind to produce positive, effective and lasting changes in minutes rather than months and years.
Unlike other â€œtalkingâ€ therapies it does not involve going over details of past negative experiences. Consequently It is extremely beneficial when dealing with those who may have experienced trauma, depression etc.
WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is a form of complementary â€¨therapy that utilises the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts, feelings and â€¨behaviour.
The process itself aims to alter our state of consciousness in a way that relaxes the conscious part of the mind whileâ€¨simultaneously stimulating andâ€¨focusing the subconscious part.
WHAT ARE THE BARS?
The Bars are 32 points of energy in and around your head that store the
electromagnetic components of thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions and beliefs that you have ever had about anything.
When they are lightly touched, they â€¨release electromagnetic energy. This is where the defrag takes place. This means old habits and patterns surrounding that Bar, which inhibit us from performing at our optimum potential, are released.
