What is Reiki?
Reiki is a technique of natural healing developed by Dr Mikao Usui in Japan in the 1920's'. Reiki is a simple, natural hands-on healing method. It is defined as the transfer of "universal energy" from one person to another. Reiki practitioners are trained to tune into this healing universal energy. Then, they act as a channel for the Reiki to flow through them to the client
The practitioner channels this life energy through their hands for the purposes of healing the body, mind and spirit. The hand positions correspond to the energy centres of the body and their associated organs.
