I specialise in Reiki for animals because that is where my heart is. I have worked with dogs, cats, horses, cows, sheep, a hare and many different birds. Reiki treatments are always done as a complement to veterinary treatment. I have found Reiki to be especially helpful in chronic conditions such as arthritis, and as an aid in recovery from surgery, where the Reiki energy can greatly enhance the natural healing process. My vet has always been pleased at how quickly my cats and dogs have recovered from surgery. It is also helpful with nervous conditions as the reiki energy usually has a calming effect.
