Meditation and Mindfulness is a big part of Reiki, in fact Reiki is meditation. During the Workshop we will explore meditation and Jenny will perform guided meditations, to relax and restore, getting rid of chaos and stress. This is very easy and not difficult as some people are led to believe, busy minds can relax for a few moments!
Deep breathing is essential to restore and relax, so we will perform the deep breathing of Joshin Koku Ho which translates to ‘purification of the breath method’. There are actually many translations of this meditation, but in the end they all mean the same.
